Maria Pia Fanti is full professor of System and Control Engineering at the Department of Electrical and Information Engineering of the Polytechnic of Bari (Italy). She received the Laurea degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Pisa (Italy), in 1983. She was a visiting researcher at the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute of Troy, New York, in 1999. Since 1983 she has been with the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering of the Polytechnic of Bari (Italy), where she was Assistant Professor from 1990 till 1998 and Associate Professor from 1990 till April 2012. Maria Pia Fanti is IEEE fellow for contributions to modeling and control of discrete event systems. Her research interests include Discrete event systems, Petri net, consensus algorithms, networked and control systems, management and modeling of logistic systems, automated manufacturing systems, automatic guided vehicle systems, traffic networks, and healthcare systems. Mouquan Shen is a professor and doctoral advisor at the School of Electrical Engineering and Control Science,Nanjing Tech University.Postdoctoral fellow of Southeast University, visiting scholar of University of Hong Kong, Lingnan University of South Korea and University of Adelaide of Australia. In 2015, it was selected as the 12th batch of cultivation objects of "Six Talents Peak" in Jiangsu Province. Sohrab Mirsaeidi received his Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Malaysia in 2016. Subsequently, he furthered his Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Department of Electrical Engineering, Tsinghua University, China from 2016 to 2019. Currently, he is an Associate Professor at the School of Electrical Engineering, Beijing Jiaotong University (BJTU), China. Sohrab Mirsaeidi has published 60+ papers and 2 books in the field of Microgrids and Large-Scale Power Systems. He is a Member of the National Technical Committee of Measuring Relays and Protection Equipment Standardization of China, and has presided over and participated in several national research projects in China. He is an Editorial Board Member for several international journals and a Regular Reviewer for IEEE Transactions journals. He has also served as Chair, Keynote/Invited Speaker, and Technical Committee Member in 60+ international conferences. He has presided over one sub-project of the National Key Research and Development Program of China, one upper-level project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and two scientific and technological projects of State Grid of Jiangsu Province Electric Power Co. In 2017, he was selected as one of the 14th batch of "Six Talent Summits" high-level talents in Jiangsu Province, and in 2016, he was selected as one of the fifth "333 High-level Talent Cultivation Project" for young and middle-aged talents in Jiangsu Province. In 2016, he was selected as the fifth "333 High-level Talent Cultivation Project" of Jiangsu Province. Up to now, he has published more than 80 academic papers in authoritative journals at home and abroad, such as IEEE Trans. Power Systems, China Journal of Electrical Engineering, etc., of which more than 50 are SCI indexed, with more than 1500 citations in SCI and 19 H index, and more than 20 invention patents have been authorized. He graduated from Northeastern University in July 2017 with a Ph.D. degree in Control Theory and Control Engineering, and was appointed to the School of Electrical Engineering and Control Science of Nanjing University of Technology (NUIST) in August 2017 to engage in teaching and research, and has been working as a postdoctoral researcher at the Postdoctoral Station of Power Engineering and Thermal Physics of NUIST since July 2019, and is now working as a postdoctoral researcher.
